John van der Valk joins Infopro Digital as Managing Director Trade Shows
Infopro Digital, a European leader in business-to-business (B2B) information solutions, has announced the appointment of John van der Valk as Managing Director – Trade Shows. He will report to Isabelle André, Executive Director of Infopro Digital group.
John van der Valk will oversee the strategic growth and development of the group’s global exhibition portfolios.
He brings over 25 years of experience in the B2B media and events industry, with a strong focus on digital transformation, commercial leadership, and team building across Europe, Asia, and North America. Before joining Infopro Digital, John served as Senior Advisor to the Board at Informa Markets Asia, supporting the roll-out of buyer-led meeting programs and commercial best practices. From 2020 to early 2024, he was CEO Europe at ECRM / RangeMe, responsible for expanding the company’s presence and operations across the region. Earlier in his career, John held executive roles at Informa and UBM.
Recognised as flagship events in their respective fields, the trade shows organised by Infopro Digital group are the annual go-to gatherings for professionals within the construction and public sectors, insurance and retailindustry. The group curates a portfolio of 40 industry-specific trade shows that attract more than 270,000 attendees each year, including the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités (France), UKREiiF (UK), Luxe Pack (Monaco, USA, Asia), MakeUp in (France, USA).
