Risk Training launches live, online courses in response to Covid-19 pandemic

Risk Training is the global training provider powered by Risk.net. We offer highly technical, in-depth training courses, designed for risk management professionals working in a wide range of financial institutions.

We host more than 100 courses a year across four continents, with speakers and attendees travelling the globe to attend, learn and network with other industry practitioners.

When Covid-19 hit, the in-person delivery of our training courses was no longer possible and we were faced with the difficult task of deciding how to adapt our services. As one of our core values here at Risk.net is resilience we were determined to support our clients and accommodate the need for essential training while ensuring the safety of our delegates and speakers.

With this in mind, we decided to pivot our in-person training to delivery via an online platform. We reconfigured the format of the training, allowing the content and interaction to be kept at the most engaging level and facilitating communication between speakers and participants.

We hosted 14 online courses in June, which received an overall satisfaction rate of 98% from our attendees. We also received some positive, encouraging feedback including:
