Attendees engaged with over 35 hours of content delivered by 100 speakers based in Asia, Europe, and North America. The event’s sponsors included SIX, BNY Mellon, Hitachi, MarketAxess, SmartStream, Bloomberg, CUSIP Global Services, FactSet, MayStreet, Deutsche Börse Group and Torstone Technology.

Representatives from leading global capital markets firms participated in the event, including Aberdeen Standard Investments, Bank of Montreal, BNY Mellon, China Construction Bank, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, MUFG, RBC Capital Markets and Société Générale, among others.

Our Global Advisory Board (composed of key leaders within the industry), in collaboration with the WatersTechnology editorial team, reviewed and endorsed the event agenda, resulting in a highly topical, live and on-demand content program. The sessions transcended borders, enabling attendees to share best practices, benchmark solutions and look ahead to challenges on the horizon.

This virtual event focused on three key overarching themes—“Technology & Transformation,” “Data Insights,” and “Business Strategy & Leadership”—touching on topics currently dominating capital markets, from best technology adoption strategies, unlocking the value of analytics, operational resilience, maximizing investment on tech platforms, to diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the industry.

According to Kim Prado, managing director at RBC Capital Markets, “The feedback loop is what allows our team to keep evolving.” Barry Raskin, managing director at Jordan & Jordan, found the discussions very meaningful and said, “This type of dialogue will enhance my ability to support my clients in the financial services industry at an even higher level than before.”
