The Infopro Digital group strengthens its management team with three appointments

Infopro Digital has expanded its management team with the arrival of Elisabeth Shemtov as Group Managing Director, in charge of the Construction unit, and Céline Ruat as Group Head of Human Resources. Pierre-Nicolas Dessus also joins the group as General Manager.

 With these three appointments, the Group strengthens its management team as it looks to roll out its growth strategy in France and beyond. According to Julien Elmaleh, Chief Executive Officer, Infopro Digital Group: “The extremely rapid development of the group in France and abroad has given us a fantastic opportunity to attract the most talented people, at all levels. I am delighted to welcome these three accomplished professionals and wish them a great deal of success in their new positions.”

Elisabeth Shemtov has been appointed Group Managing Director, in charge of the Construction Unit

Infopro Digital’s Construction Unit is made up of seven long-standing, celebrated media brands, which are all widely recognised for the quality and precision of their content, such as the two flagship publications, Le Moniteur and AMC.

Elisabeth Shemtov will be calling upon her digital and international experience to add a new dimension to these brands and meet the new expectations of decision-makers in the sector more effectively.

Her mission will particularly involve boosting the editorial power of the Unit and developing original communications solutions, supported by Infopro Digital group’s ability to innovate.

Having studied at ESCP Europe and Harvard Business School, Elisabeth Shemtov previously worked as Chief Executive Officer of Éditions WEKA, a digital publisher specialised in the public sector. Her rich and varied career path has enabled her, amongst other things, to become very familiar with the media and communications sectors via her experience in the JCDecaux Group and with the employment and digital sectors as Deputy CEO for APEC (public sector careers and employment agency for executives).

Céline Ruat has been appointed Group Head of Human Resources.

 Céline Ruat will be tasked with supporting Infopro Digital’s 2,700 employees on a day-to-day basis in their professional projects and with recruiting 300 new members of staff this year to drive development of the group.

Céline Ruat will be responsible for all aspects of HR in the group: development of the employer brand, training of employees, internal mobility, industrial relations, international development, etc.

Céline Ruat previously worked as Head of Human Resources for the NRJ Group. After studying law, she began her professional career at a legal firm, in a unit specialising in social legislation. She then joined the HR department of Menarini Laboratories as social law officer, before working for Servair (Air France Group), where she held various positions as Human Resources manager.

Pierre-Nicolas Dessus has been appointed General Manager in charge of media distribution

 Pierre-Nicolas Dessus, General Manager in charge of media distribution, will be deploying all of his digital and data expertise to accelerate the digitalisation of subscriptions, which the group has already increased substantially.

He will be particularly tasked with extending “company licenses” to the various group brands. As part of the distribution growth strategy, this new offer has already had a very positive impact on the number of subscribers to the Gazette des Communes and to LSA (+47% in the last year).

At the same time, he will be developing additional offers and services to attract new subscribers and develop loyalty among existing customers.

Pierre-Nicolas Dessus was Head of Digital Marketing and Data for France Télévision from 2012, in charge of research and analysis of digital practices, the development of digital audiences and the development of digital revenue streams. After graduating from Université Paris-Dauphine with Master’s degree in Management and then from Sciences Po Paris with a Master’s degree in Marketing Research and Strategy, Pierre-Nicolas Dessus began his career as Research Executive Assistant for IFOP. He then joined Lemonde.fr to develop the paper’s (paid) digital offer. He subsequently worked for the Reed Business Information group as Digital Marketing manager and then as Group Marketing manager.
