Infopro Digital adds Alan Silber as Managing Director for FinTech and the Americas

Infopro Digital continues its investment in the financial services, risk and insurance spaces with the addition of Alan Silber as Managing Director for the FinTech segment as well as the senior leader in the Americas.

Alan will oversee the Chartis Research and WatersTechnology brands globally. In addition, he will be responsible for the Americas growth of Risk.net, Central Banking, and FX Markets. Finally, as the senior leader in the Americas for all Infopro Digital brands, Alan will be responsible for operations and infrastructure in the region.

David Pagliaro, Infopro Digital’s Group Managing Director, states: “We are very excited to have Alan join us. He brings a wealth of global experience from some of the best known vendors in the financial services industry. Alan will help drive Infopro Digital’s expansion in the Americas, as well as bolstering our expert research capabilities.”

Biography:

Alan has over 20 years’ experience working in the financial services industry, primarily with large vendors, leading global teams. He brings extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of software and data, with a particular interest in transformational technologies, and how they impact industry. He has worked in both sales and business leadership roles.

Alan joins us from Accuity, a subsidiary company of RELX. There, Alan led a global sales team as will as the New York sales team. Prior to Accuity, Alan held a series of management positions at Sungard (now FIS) and MSCI. Previously Alan worked in the Tax and Management Consulting lines of business of PwC.

Alan has an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan Flagler Business School, and a BA in Political Science/Public Policy from the George Washington University. He enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is active with the organization iMentor.
