As an International Business Developer at Eventmaker
Internally, you will be responsible for expanding our client portfolio on the global stage. With our ambitious growth plans on an international scale, we are relying on your expertise in prospecting and business development to explore new markets
Externally, your work & efforts will have an impact on the exhibition & tradeshow industry as you will help various stakeholders pursue their digital evolution. You will contribute to the digitization of this exciting and fascinating industry, which uses events, media, data and technology to drive business, connection and growth across the globe
Your primary responsibilities will include
– Handling inbound leads generated from our website and other marketing channels
– Actively identifying and reaching out to new prospects through targeted outbound prospecting efforts Converting cold into qualified leads
– Balance inbound and outbound activities to drive the highest-value sales pipeline
– Qualifying prospects by analyzing their specific needs and understanding the challenges within their industry
– Conducting compelling demonstrations of Eventmaker solutions to showcase the value we bring to their events
– Crafting tailored commercial proposals and negotiating contracts until final closure
– Collaborating closely with our Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handover of won projects for successful implementation
Your secondary responsibilities will include
– Leveraging multi-channel engagement strategies to approach and engage target accounts
– Developing best practices for outbound sales efforts across direct calling and social media engagement ; proactively researching to inform approach strategy to ensure a relevant, value-added approach methodology
– Cultivating and nurturing long-lasting business relationships with existing clients to ensure their loyalty and satisfaction
– You will leverage our existing client references, strong partnerships, and the international foothold of the Infopro Digital group to strengthen our presence in international markets
– You will accompany your clients in their digital transformation and ensure its success by making sure Eventmaker is at the right place within their tech ecosystem / stack
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in prospecting and business development, preferably within the Event Industry, Technology, or SaaS sector. Your experience or affinity for the Event Industry are a plus. Demonstrating a strong ability to work autonomously, proactively, and with a results-oriented approach is essential.

Possessing organizational skills, a strong ability to influence, perseverance, resilience, and a positive mindset are paramount. These qualities equip you to overcome obstacles and challenges inherent in international business development
You are fluent in English, and ideally, you also have good knowledge of German or Dutch, enabling you to effectively develop our markets in Europ
