Junior EHS legal Consultant – LATAM

In Red-On-Line we are looking for a Junior Consultant in Health, Safety and Environment (Junior EHS legal Consultant) to join into our LATAM team in Barcelona. 

What will I be doing ?

– Identify and update the applicable legal requirements and obligations regarding HSE in Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina, Guatemala, Chile, Peru, Bolivia , Honduras, Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua (scope: National, State, and Autonomous Communities)
– Identify legal requirements and obligations “in situ”: on site, factory, or other customer facilities
– Write summaries on applicable legislation (Newsletter)
– Update legal records of rulemaking
– Evaluation of legal compliance regarding: Health, Safety and Environment
– Prepare / write audit reports on legal compliance with HSE
– Provide support and legal assistance in HSE (sectors: automotive, construction, engineering, chemical industry, etc.)

What do we need from you?

– Preferably graduated or licensed in: Law, Environmental Sciences, Environmental, Industrial / Civil Engineering, Chemistry
– Preferably with postgraduate studies: Master in Occupational Risk Prevention, Industrial Safety, or Master in Environmental Law
– If you are not licensed or graduated in Law, you must have a good knowledge of legal regulations: Laws, Regulations, Directives, etc.
– Between 0-2 years of work experience
– Fluent in English and Spanish with a firm understanding of Latin American dialect
– Good analytical skills and understanding of legal texts
– Independent and enterprising person with a positive attitude
– Teamwork
– Well organized and practical
– Office skills (particularly Excel)
– Availability to travel

Descripción del puesto (Funciones)

– Identificar y actualizar los requisitos y obligaciones legales aplicables en materia de SSMA en México, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina, Guatemala, Chile, Perú, Bolivia, Honduras, República Dominicana y Nicaragua. (ámbito: Comunitario, Estatal y Nacional)
– Identificar requisitos y obligaciones legales “in situ”: en obra, fábrica, u otras instalaciones del cliente
– Redactar resúmenes sobre legislación aplicable (Newsletter)
– Actualizar los Registros legales
– Evaluación de cumplimiento legal en materia de: Salud, Seguridad y Medio ambiente
– Elaborar/redactar informes de auditoría de cumplimiento legal en materia de HSE
Dar soporte y asistencia legal en materia de HSE (sectores: automoción, construcción, ingeniería, industria química, etc.)

Requisitos para el puesto

– Imprescindible graduado o licenciado en: Derecho, Ciencias ambientales, Ingeniería ambiental, industrial/civil, Química
– Preferentemente con estudios de postgrado: máster en Prevención de Riesgos laborales, Seguridad Industrial,
– Máster en – Derecho ambiental
– Si no es licenciado o graduado en Derecho, debe tener un buen conocimiento sobre normativa legal: Leyes, Reglamentos, Directivas, etc.
– Entre 0-2 años de experiencia laboral
– Fluidez en inglés y español con una sólida comprensión del dialecto latinoamericano
– Persona independiente y emprendedora con una actitud positiva
– Trabajar en equipo
– Bien organizado y práctico
– Habilidades en ofimática (particularmente Excel)
– Disponibilidad para viajar
