The role of HR Manager is an integral part of our business. This is an on site stand-alone role but part of a wider global HR team. Operating in an HR matrixed environment, this position will work closely with Talent Acquisition Manager, Payroll & Benefits Manager aligned to the Infopro Digital Services division, and the wider global HR Team to support and deliver our employee initiatives.
Entering 2023 we are preparing for growth and the HR Manager will play a key role in supporting the business through these exciting times.
The successful individual will focus on building their knowledge to really understand the business and proactively support them all areas of HR. You will demonstrate confidence in giving sound HR advice and guidance on HR best practice to all colleagues and managers. You will need to build strong and collaborative partnerships with the business to enable our client groups to deliver high levels of business performance. You will provide a consultancy- based approach in supporting managers which delivers commercially focused HR solutions.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for collecting payroll requirements for the twice monthly payroll including commissions, PTO, joiners and leavers and 401K changes
Manage company benefits including administration of benefits, managing 3rd party vendors and providing input to reviewing benefits
Be the first point of contact for all employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions, performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence and redundancy
Management of one remote based employee
Lead the onboarding and offboarding of employees
Apply HR and business knowledge to support appropriate decision-making
Proactively engage internal customers to build strong and collaborative business partnerships and relationships
Provide coaching to managers to help them reach appropriate decisions on all aspects of people management
Working collaboratively within a matrix structure with other HR teams/functions to align and achieve business and people initiatives
Be proactive in recognising any new HR legislation matters relevant to the business and ensure that staff handbooks are kept updated
Co-ordinate and ensure delivery and collaboration of People processes as required e.g. salary review, bonus, performance reviews ensuring efficient and accurate operation
Participate and lead HR projects as and when required
• Prior HR advisory experience, with a strong knowledge of employment law
• Experience of supporting organisational change
• The ability to develop, maintain and influence excellent working relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to flex personal style in response to others or fit the situation
• Resilient, able to deal with problems and manage difficult situations firmly and sensitively
• Able to act within and interpret company policies and procedures and recommend solutions outside scope of policy as appropriate to add value
• Required to work on own initiative and proactively identify business improvements
