MakeUp in run 4 annual tradeshows globally since the first edition show in Paris in 2010 and for the 12 years that followed, accompanied the meteoric rise of the beauty industry and more particularly of makeup by positioning itself on the promising markets that were Brazil, Korea, and that are still undeniably, the USA, Los Angeles and New York, Shanghai and Paris. And because trends are the driver of these events, it is quite naturally that the offer has now been extended to skincare, including hybrid products such as, to name but a few, mascaras that promote eyelash regrowth, moisturizing foundations, and lipsticks that smooth out fine lines.

As organizers of cosmetic shows worldwide, we saw the Clean Beauty trend emerge a few years ago. Today, it’s more than just another trend: it’s a groundswell that is considerably changing the cosmetic landscape.

The starting point was simple: consumers seek to better understand what they are buying in terms of ingredients, formulation, ethics, sourcing and want to be ambassadors of the brands in which they trust. Brands are therefore required to further control their manufacturers’ processes to establish practices in accordance with demand.

Clean Beauty in London cover all product categories from facial skincare, bodycare and haircare to makeup. The logic will remain the same as for MakeUp in shows: suppliers are our exhibitors and brands are visitors.

At Clean Beauty in London, we seek to help brands to find clean suppliers in ingredients, turnkey services, packaging, contract manufacturing/formulation and accessories. The show also aims at offering brands the insights they are looking for to match the scientific aspects of the clean beauty to consumer demand with an inspirational educational program.

Following the success of the first edition, a new edition will be held in London this year, and we are working on launching the show on the American market for 2023.
