Accountant role? This is an opportunity for a professional who enjoys

In this role,
you will be responsible for:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and fixed asset management.
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Polish GAAP and Group policies, including bank reconciliations and cash accounting (PLN, EUR, USD).

VAT, Tax & Internal Compliance

Prepare and submit VAT declarations (JPK_V7) and support corporate income tax (CIT) and payroll-related tax reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements, and statutory regulations, while supporting audits and liaising with tax authorities and external advisors.

Collaboration and Reporting

Prepare management and financial reports, including P&L analyses, cash flow reporting, etc.
Support business decision-making through accurate financial data, and cross-functional collaboration.
Process payroll data in coordination with HR and ensure accurate social security (ZUS) and income tax (PIT) reporting.

Treasury & Banking

Manage payment runs, monitor cash positions, and support treasury activities across multiple currencies.
Maintain effective banking relationships and ensure efficient cash management practices.

Period-End Closings & Statutory Reporting

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations, trial balances, and financial statement preparation.

Prepare statutory reports and filings for local authorities (GUS, NBP, and other authorities) and support the preparation of annual financial statements and disclosures.

Our requirements

Bachelor’s
degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields
3-5
years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong
understanding of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations (CIT,
VAT)
Solid
experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
Strong
analytical thinking and ability to independently resolve accounting issues
High
attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time
management skills
Very
good MS Office skills, especially Excel, experience with accounting
systems (e.g. Symfonia or similar)
Strong
Polish language skills, very good English skills (C1 level required),
especially in finance and accounting

Optional

Experience
in an international environment and in audit processes or cooperation with
auditors
Exposure to group reporting requirements
Knowledge
of financial controlling or reporting tools
