Accountant role? This is an opportunity for a professional who enjoys

In this role,
you will be responsible for:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and fixed asset management.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Polish GAAP and Group policies, including bank reconciliations and cash accounting (PLN, EUR, USD).
VAT, Tax & Internal Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT declarations (JPK_V7) and support corporate income tax (CIT) and payroll-related tax reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements, and statutory regulations, while supporting audits and liaising with tax authorities and external advisors.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Prepare management and financial reports, including P&L analyses, cash flow reporting, etc.
- Support business decision-making through accurate financial data, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Process payroll data in coordination with HR and ensure accurate social security (ZUS) and income tax (PIT) reporting.
Treasury & Banking
- Manage payment runs, monitor cash positions, and support treasury activities across multiple currencies.
- Maintain effective banking relationships and ensure efficient cash management practices.
Period-End Closings & Statutory Reporting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations, trial balances, and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare statutory reports and filings for local authorities (GUS, NBP, and other authorities) and support the preparation of annual financial statements and disclosures.
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields - 3-5
years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles - Strong
understanding of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations (CIT,
VAT) - Solid
experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting - Strong
analytical thinking and ability to independently resolve accounting issues - High
attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time
management skills - Very
good MS Office skills, especially Excel, experience with accounting
systems (e.g. Symfonia or similar) - Strong
Polish language skills, very good English skills (C1 level required),
especially in finance and accounting
Optional
- Experience
in an international environment and in audit processes or cooperation with
auditors - Exposure to group reporting requirements
- Knowledge
of financial controlling or reporting tools
