Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a Reporter on a permanent basis to join our brand WatersTechnology.

Infopro Digital is a global digital information, research and events business serving the global risk, financial technology and insurance markets. It’s home to a series of market-leading business-to-business media brands including, Central Banking and WatersTechnology.

Our content is read by business heads, traders, risk managers, and compliance and operations professionals at major financial firms

WatersTechnology is seeking an early-stage or graduate reporter to join its team. The successful applicant will produce news and analysis for our website.

We are a trade publication looking for an enthusiastic reporter to join our team. Our beat is what happens at the intersection of financial markets and technology, from trading tools to big data to debates around emerging technology like artificial intelligence. We produce news stories, deep-dive features, and investigative pieces about banks, asset managers, exchanges and vendors on a regular basis.

Most importantly, we value quality over quantity and we give reporters time to work on high-value stories. It’s a position with a high learning curve attached, but you will have loads of on-the-job training and the opportunity to hone your news reporting and investigative skills. We also have a popular podcast that you would be welcome to contribute to.

Some of our team have been with us for decades, but we also consider ourselves a feeder publication to more mainstream titles. Our “alumni” have gone on to jobs at our prestigious sister publication, as well as to well-known brands like the Wall Street Journal, VICE, Business Insider, the Guardian, and the Financial Times.


We’re looking for someone with a nose for news and a love of reporting.

You don’t need to have prior experience in a similar role or knowledge of finance or technology, but an untiring willingness to learn and a tenacious attitude are essential.

You should also have demonstrable writing skills and reporting chops. An on-site writing test will be required.

You should be comfortable with and enjoy talking to a diverse range of people, including C-Level executives, analysts, and technologists.

You should also be as comfortable working closely with another reporter to share a byline as you are with getting on with things on your own.


This role is hybrid based out of our London offices.
