Marketing Specialist
Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a Marketing Specialist on a permanent basis to join its global Marketing team.
Infopro Digital is a rapidly growing, market leading, B2B publisher with 50+ brands globally and counting. A fantastic role is available within our dynamic marketing team. This is a role that offers structure, whilst encouraging fresh ideas. The successful candidate will be involved hands-on with activity and revenue responsibility for one of our most established brands, Risk.net. The role will be primarily to execute marketing campaigns for the brands’ market leading online subscription offering.
Working closely with the rest of the marketing team, sales and editorial teams, you will drive leads for new business and send campaigns to encourage engagement from existing subscribers. The individual is expected to test, analyse and devise new ways of engaging with our audience.
The ideal candidate will hold experience in marketing; however, practical experience within the sector is not essential – a passion for marketing and ambition are far more important to us. The person is most important to us, not necessarily their experience.

Requirements

Excellent project management and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Attention to detail and copywriting experience
Analytical – judge the success of marketing activity and spot potential new marketing opportunities
A good working knowledge of excel, ideally to an intermediate or advanced standard
Digital Marketing & Google Analytics awareness
Customer centric approach and ensuring our subscribers have a slick user journey via all digital touchpoints
Creative thinker and proactivity – coming up with innovative marketing solutions and making them become a reality
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Activity: Execute and track the success of acquisition and lead generation campaigns, on and offline.
Set up and monitor the effectiveness of automated campaigns for engagement, renewal and new business.
Create, monitor and amend trialist communications plans for each brand.
Monitor and improve funnel conversion for brands. Traffic to trial (or registration) and trial to subscriber.
With the help of the brand team, providing more in-depth technical product knowledge, write engaging copy that draws clients into our products. Both for subscribers and prospects.
Utilize all online and offline channels to improve conversion levels. Create multi-media, multi-effort campaign plans for segments of prospects.
Improve the Social Media activity – learn how to use social platforms to drive traffic into the subscription funnels.
Ensure that all customers receive value for money for their subscription by engaging them in our product offering via multiple channels and touch points
Create and update User Guides for the product websites. Encouraging usage. Push these User Guides out to Enterprise clients
Track, test (and test again), analyze all elements of campaign performance. Constantly testing against the control. Share learnings and best practice.
Identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for the client based on analysis.
Create benchmarks and KPI targets surrounding activity. Have clear and agreed aims communicated to the senior management team
Working closely with the in-house design team to ensure all of the following is created and updated for each of the brands: Events collateral (stands and gifts).
Print and web adverts.
Digital collateral such as our online features pages.
Sales brochures and client leave behind documents.
Technical & Systems:
Be part of a team of experts that uses the full capability of internal systems such as SalesForce, HubSpot, Piano and Google Analytics to drive subscription revenues
Update online pages using the internal CMS system.
Corporate:
Work closely with other internal teams to create an integrated sales, customer services and marketing function
Assist on projects with other functions to grow the marketing department’s contribution to the business as a whole
