Business Development Manager
Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis to join its e3technical brand.
Haynes Group are an established Automotive Data Solutions provider. For the last 10 years the business has consistently exceeded budgets, delivering double digit year-on-year growth. In 2020 Haynes Group was acquired by Infopro Digital as part of a larger strategic plan to become a global leader within the automotive data market.
Haynes Group are looking for an ambitious, experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team. It is an exciting time to join the organisation as you will be instrumental in driving new business growth and expansion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities through the sale of our e3technical product.
e3technical is a purpose built workshop platform for UK garages and workshops providing users with OE service, maintenance and repair data via a vehicle registration lookup. Data includes OE manufacturer service schedules, repair times, procedures and fault code diagnostics. E3technical is complimented with additional UK specific vehicle technical data modules.
The position will suit an established professional with a proven record of securing new customers and revenues from the ground up. The right candidate will be someone who understands the importance of collaboration, ownership, integrity and excellent customer service.
What the role involves
As a key member of the sales team you will be responsible for delivering a pure growth model of new business through actively identifying, hunting and acquiring new direct sales opportunities within the UK market
Identifying, visiting and pitching UK garages and workshops, typically dealing direct with the business owner
Maintaining current 4-week sales cycle
Supporting the wider activities of Haynes Group business in the UK, as directed by the Head of New Sales -UK
You will report to the head of New Sales -UK
Requirements
Data savvy individual with a strong understanding of data sales and/or the UK automotive market
Minimum 2 years’ experience and a proven track record of success in delivering new business
Excellent prospecting, networking, negotiation and closing skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations)
High level of computer literacy
Outstanding customer relationship skills
Highly numerate individual with the ability to work with data as your core sales product
First class planning, organisational and administrative skills
