Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a Data Journalist on a permanent basis to join Insurance Post.

As data becomes an increasingly important part of our USP with subscribers seeking information and analysis they cannot find elsewhere to give them a competitive advantage, we are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic data journalist to join our award-winning insurance editorial team.
The successful candidate will be skilled at both data analysis and visualisation; at spotting interesting stories and angles within the data and then being able to explain/illustrate them to our readers.
They will be a keen self-starter with an eye for detail, who will work with the editor/news editor, research team and production designers on projects both large and small, covering everything from succinct exclusive data analysis to whitepapers and long form reports.

Requirements
Ability to produce high-impact copy using data-driven tools.
Experience using tools such as spreadsheets for acquiring and analysing data.
Ability to extract information from structured and unstructured data in public filings, regulatory reports, industry papers and transcriptions.
Ability to produce accurate, engaging, and analytical copy to a high standard and in accordance with our house style.
Fluent written and spoken English is imperative.
High level of organisation, time management and attention to detail.
Willingness to take full ownership of research projects.
Able to act as an ambassador for the company and its publications, maintaining high standard of integrity and ethics.
A team player inclined to work towards group objectives.
